CVSS v3.1 |
| Tampering of the registry entries might have led to preventing the ESET security products from starting correctly on the next system startup or to unauthorized changes in the product's configuration. |
| Improper permission configurationDomain configuration vulnerability of the mobile application (com.afmobi.boomplayer) can lead to account takeover risks. |
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource, Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor, Missing Authorization, Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in Usta Information Systems Inc. Aybs Interaktif allows Privilege Abuse, Authentication Bypass. This issue affects Aybs Interaktif: from 2024 through 28082025. |
| Enables an authenticated user (enrolled device) to access a service protected by Sentry even if they are not authorized according to the sentry policy to access that service. It does not enable the user to authenticate to or use the service, it just provides the tunnel access. |
| DaVinci Resolve on MacOS was found to be installed with incorrect file permissions (rwxrwxrwx). This is inconsistent with standard macOS security practices, where applications should have drwxr-xr-x permissions. Incorrect permissions allow for Dylib Hijacking. Guest account, other users and applications can exploit this vulnerability for privilege escalation. This issue affects DaVinci Resolve on MacOS in versions before 19.1.3. |
| Improper permission control in the mobile application (com.android.server.telecom) may lead to user information security risks. |
| NVIDIA DOCA contains a vulnerability in the collectx-dpeserver Debian package for arm64 that could allow an attacker with low privileges to escalate privileges. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to escalation of privileges. |
| Predictable filename vulnerabilities in ASPECT may expose sensitive information to a potential attacker if administrator credentials become compromisedThis issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.*; NEXUS Series: through 3.*; MATRIX Series: through 3.*. |
| A security vulnerability has been discovered within rpm-ostree, pertaining to the /etc/shadow file in default builds having the world-readable bit enabled. This issue arises from the default permissions being set at a higher level than recommended, potentially exposing sensitive authentication data to unauthorized access. |
| ActiveSupport::EncryptedFile writes contents that will be encrypted to a
temporary file. The temporary file's permissions are defaulted to the user's
current `umask` settings, meaning that it's possible for other users on the
same system to read the contents of the temporary file.
Attackers that have access to the file system could possibly read the contents
of this temporary file while a user is editing it.
All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the
workarounds immediately. |
| Docker Desktop for Windows contains multiple incorrect permission assignment vulnerabilities in the installer's handling of the C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop directory. The installer creates this directory without proper ownership verification, creating two exploitation scenarios:
Scenario 1 (Persistent Attack):
If a low-privileged attacker pre-creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop before Docker Desktop installation, the attacker retains ownership of the directory even after the installer applies restrictive ACLs. At any time after installation completes, the attacker can modify the directory ACL (as the owner) and tamper with critical configuration files such as install-settings.json to specify a malicious credentialHelper, causing arbitrary code execution when any user runs Docker Desktop.
Scenario 2 (TOCTOU Attack):
During installation, there is a time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition between when the installer creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop and when it sets secure ACLs. A low-privileged attacker actively monitoring for the installation can inject malicious files (such as install-settings.json) with attacker-controlled ACLs during this window, achieving the same code execution outcome. |
| NVIDIA vGPU software for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager (vGPU plugin), where it allows a guest to access global resources. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| NVIDIA DOCA contains a vulnerability in the collectx-clxapidev Debian package that could allow an actor with low privileges to escalate privileges. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to escalation of privileges. |
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Lockdown Extension allows Privilege Abuse. Fixed in Mediawiki Core Action APIThis issue affects Mediawiki - Lockdown Extension: from master before 1.42. |
| A vulnerability in invokeai version v6.0.0a1 and below allows attackers to perform path traversal and arbitrary file deletion via the GET /api/v1/images/download/{bulk_download_item_name} endpoint. By manipulating the filename arguments, attackers can read and delete any files on the server, including critical system files such as SSH keys, databases, and configuration files. This vulnerability results in high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts. |
| VIPRE Advanced Security Incorrect Permission Assignment Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of VIPRE Advanced Security for PC. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the product installer. The issue results from incorrect permissions on a folder. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27147. |
| Improper permission settings for mobile applications (com.transsion.carlcare) may lead to user password and account security risks. |
| When etcupdate encounters conflicts while merging files, it saves a version containing conflict markers in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This version does not preserve the mode of the input file, and is world-readable. This applies to files that would normally have restricted visibility, such as /etc/master.passwd.
An unprivileged local user may be able to read encrypted root and user passwords from the temporary master.passwd file created in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This is possible only when conflicts within the password file arise during an update, and the unprotected file is deleted when conflicts are resolved. |
| Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. When cloning a repository Git knows to optionally fetch a bundle advertised by the remote server, which allows the server-side to offload parts of the clone to a CDN. The Git client does not perform sufficient validation of the advertised bundles, which allows the remote side to perform protocol injection. This protocol injection can cause the client to write the fetched bundle to a location controlled by the adversary. The fetched content is fully controlled by the server, which can in the worst case lead to arbitrary code execution. The use of bundle URIs is not enabled by default and can be controlled by the bundle.heuristic config option. Some cases of the vulnerability require that the adversary is in control of where a repository will be cloned to. This either requires social engineering or a recursive clone with submodules. These cases can thus be avoided by disabling recursive clones. This vulnerability is fixed in v2.43.7, v2.44.4, v2.45.4, v2.46.4, v2.47.3, v2.48.2, v2.49.1, and v2.50.1. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIRIUS 3RK3 Modular Safety System (MSS) (All versions), SIRIUS Safety Relays 3SK2 (All versions). The affected devices do not require authentication to access critical resources. An attacker with network access could retrieve sensitive information from certain data records, including obfuscated safety passwords. |
