CVE-2017-16931 1 Xmlsoft 1 Libxml2 2025-04-20 N/A
parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.5 mishandles parameter-entity references because the NEXTL macro calls the xmlParserHandlePEReference function in the case of a '%' character in a DTD name.
CVE-2017-12245 1 Cisco 1 Secure Firewall Management Center 2025-04-20 N/A
A vulnerability in SSL traffic decryption for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause depletion of system memory, aka a Firepower Detection Engine SSL Decryption Memory Consumption Denial of Service vulnerability. If this memory leak persists over time, a denial of service (DoS) condition could develop because traffic can cease to be forwarded through the device. The vulnerability is due to an error in how the Firepower Detection Snort Engine handles SSL traffic decryption and notifications to and from the Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) handler. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a steady stream of malicious Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) traffic through the device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the device runs low on system memory. This vulnerability affects Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software Releases 6.0.1 and later, running on any of the following Cisco products: Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) 5500-X Series Next-Generation Firewalls, Firepower 2100 Series Security Appliances, Firepower 4100 Series Security Appliances, Firepower 9300 Series Security Appliances. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve02069.
CVE-2017-8452 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2025-04-20 N/A
Kibana versions prior to 5.2.1 configured for SSL client access, file descriptors will fail to be cleaned up after certain requests and will accumulate over time until the process crashes.
CVE-2017-12190 2 Linux, Redhat 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 2 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The bio_map_user_iov and bio_unmap_user functions in block/bio.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.8 do unbalanced refcounting when a SCSI I/O vector has small consecutive buffers belonging to the same page. The bio_add_pc_page function merges them into one, but the page reference is never dropped. This causes a memory leak and possible system lockup (exploitable against the host OS by a guest OS user, if a SCSI disk is passed through to a virtual machine) due to an out-of-memory condition.
CVE-2017-8421 1 Gnu 1 Binutils 2025-04-20 N/A
The function coff_set_alignment_hook in coffcode.h in Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.28, has a memory leak vulnerability which can cause memory exhaustion in objdump via a crafted PE file. Additional validation in dump_relocs_in_section in objdump.c can resolve this.
CVE-2017-8379 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Qemu, Openstack 2025-04-20 6.5 Medium
Memory leak in the keyboard input event handlers support in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption) by rapidly generating large keyboard events.
CVE-2017-8355 2 Debian, Imagemagick 2 Debian Linux, Imagemagick 2025-04-20 N/A
In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, the ReadMTVImage function in mtv.c allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory leak) via a crafted file.
CVE-2017-11539 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2025-04-20 N/A
When ImageMagick 7.0.6-1 processes a crafted file in convert, it can lead to a Memory Leak in the ReadOnePNGImage() function in coders/png.c.
CVE-2017-8350 2 Debian, Imagemagick 2 Debian Linux, Imagemagick 2025-04-20 N/A
