CVSS v3.1 |
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.2.25013. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of JPEG2000 images. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-5244.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.1.21155. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of LZWDecode filters. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-5078.
The ReadVIFFImage function in coders/viff.c in ImageMagick before 7.0.1-0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or have other unspecified impact via a crafted file.
drivers/usb/core/config.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device, related to the USB_DT_INTERFACE_ASSOCIATION descriptor.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the CalcMinMax function in coders/mat.c in ImageMagick before 6.9.4-0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash) via a crafted mat file.
An issue was discovered in Adobe Acrobat and Reader: 2017.012.20098 and earlier versions, 2017.011.30066 and earlier versions, 2015.006.30355 and earlier versions, and 11.0.22 and earlier versions. This vulnerability occurs as a result of a computation that reads data that is past the end of the target buffer; the computation is a part of Enhanced Metafile Format (EMF) processing within the image conversion module. The use of an invalid (out-of-range) pointer offset during access of internal data structure fields causes the vulnerability. A successful attack can lead to sensitive data exposure.
Rxvt 2.7.10 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack by passing the value -2^31 inside a terminal escape code, which results in a non-invertible integer that eventually leads to a segfault due to an out of bounds read.
The iwgif_record_pixel function in imagew-gif.c in libimageworsener.a in ImageWorsener 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted file.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the jpc_dec_decodepkt function in jpc_t2dec.c in JasPer 2.0.10 allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via a crafted image.
The read_next_pam_token function in imagew-pnm.c in libimageworsener.a in ImageWorsener 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack-based buffer over-read) via a crafted file.
The cr_input_new_from_uri function in cr-input.c in libcroco 0.6.11 and 0.6.12 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted CSS file.
Crypto++ (aka cryptopp) through 5.6.5 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in zinflate.cpp in the Inflator filter.
Buffer overflow in the ares_parse_a_reply function in the embedded ares library in ReSIProcate before 1.12.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds-read) via a crafted DNS response.
The yr_arena_write_data function in YARA 3.6.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer over-read and application crash) or obtain sensitive information from process memory via a crafted file that is mishandled in the yr_re_fast_exec function in libyara/re.c and the _yr_scan_match_callback function in libyara/scan.c.
In ytnef 1.9.2, the SwapWord function in lib/ytnef.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted file.
In ytnef 1.9.2, the SwapDWord function in lib/ytnef.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted file.
In ytnef 1.9.2, the DecompressRTF function in lib/ytnef.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted file.
The jas_matrix_bindsub function in jas_seq.c in JasPer 2.0.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid read) via a crafted image.
The decodeSample function in IMA.cpp in Audio File Library (aka audiofile) 0.3.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted file.
An issue was discovered in ytnef before 1.9.2. There is a potential out-of-bounds access with fields of Size 0 in TNEFParse() in libytnef.
