| The client side in OpenSSH 5.7 through 8.4 has an Observable Discrepancy leading to an information leak in the algorithm negotiation. This allows man-in-the-middle attackers to target initial connection attempts (where no host key for the server has been cached by the client). NOTE: some reports state that 8.5 and 8.6 are also affected. | ||||
| CVE-2019-6110 | 4 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens and 1 more | 9 Element Software, Ontap Select Deploy, Storage Automation Store and 6 more | 2025-12-18 | 6.8 Medium |
| In OpenSSH 7.9, due to accepting and displaying arbitrary stderr output from the server, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can manipulate the client output, for example to use ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3426 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 11 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 8 more | 2025-12-18 | 5.7 Medium |
| There's a flaw in Python 3's pydoc. A local or adjacent attacker who discovers or is able to convince another local or adjacent user to start a pydoc server could access the server and use it to disclose sensitive information belonging to the other user that they would not normally be able to access. The highest risk of this flaw is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects Python versions before 3.8.9, Python versions before 3.9.3 and Python versions before 3.10.0a7. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3859 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 2 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 2 more | 2025-12-18 | 9.1 Critical |
| An out of bounds read flaw was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the _libssh2_packet_require and _libssh2_packet_requirev functions. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to cause a Denial of Service or read data in the client memory. | ||||

| Remotely observable behaviour in auth-gss2.c in OpenSSH through 7.8 could be used by remote attackers to detect existence of users on a target system when GSS2 is in use. NOTE: the discoverer states 'We understand that the OpenSSH developers do not want to treat such a username enumeration (or "oracle") as a vulnerability.' | ||||
| CVE-2021-4189 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Python and 3 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Python, specifically in the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client library in PASV (passive) mode. The issue is how the FTP client trusts the host from the PASV response by default. This flaw allows an attacker to set up a malicious FTP server that can trick FTP clients into connecting back to a given IP address and port. This vulnerability could lead to FTP client scanning ports, which otherwise would not have been possible. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3737 | 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 18 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Hci and 15 more | 2025-12-17 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in python. An improperly handled HTTP response in the HTTP client code of python may allow a remote attacker, who controls the HTTP server, to make the client script enter an infinite loop, consuming CPU time. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-23336 | 7 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 14 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 11 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.9 Medium |
| The package python/cpython from 0 and before 3.6.13, from 3.7.0 and before 3.7.10, from 3.8.0 and before 3.8.8, from 3.9.0 and before 3.9.2 are vulnerable to Web Cache Poisoning via urllib.parse.parse_qsl and urllib.parse.parse_qs by using a vector called parameter cloaking. When the attacker can separate query parameters using a semicolon (;), they can cause a difference in the interpretation of the request between the proxy (running with default configuration) and the server. This can result in malicious requests being cached as completely safe ones, as the proxy would usually not see the semicolon as a separator, and therefore would not include it in a cache key of an unkeyed parameter. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20388 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 4 more | 34 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 31 more | 2025-12-17 | 7.5 High |
| xmlSchemaPreRun in xmlschemas.c in libxml2 2.9.10 allows an xmlSchemaValidateStream memory leak. | ||||
| CVE-2018-20685 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fujitsu and 6 more | 30 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, M10-1 and 27 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.3 Medium |
| In OpenSSH 7.9, scp.c in the scp client allows remote SSH servers to bypass intended access restrictions via the filename of . or an empty filename. The impact is modifying the permissions of the target directory on the client side. | ||||
| CVE-2018-15473 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 4 more | 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Aff Baseboard Management Controller and 22 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.9 Medium |
| OpenSSH through 7.7 is prone to a user enumeration vulnerability due to not delaying bailout for an invalid authenticating user until after the packet containing the request has been fully parsed, related to auth2-gss.c, auth2-hostbased.c, and auth2-pubkey.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3855 | 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 18 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2025-12-17 | 8.8 High |
| An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2022-0391 | 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 12 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci and 9 more | 2025-12-17 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Python, specifically within the urllib.parse module. This module helps break Uniform Resource Locator (URL) strings into components. The issue involves how the urlparse method does not sanitize input and allows characters like '\r' and '\n' in the URL path. This flaw allows an attacker to input a crafted URL, leading to injection attacks. This flaw affects Python versions prior to 3.10.0b1, 3.9.5, 3.8.11, 3.7.11 and 3.6.14. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19956 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2025-12-03 | 7.5 High |

| CVE-2021-20197 | 4 Broadcom, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Binutils, Cloud Backup and 3 more | 2025-12-03 | 6.3 Medium |
| There is an open race window when writing output in the following utilities in GNU binutils version 2.35 and earlier:ar, objcopy, strip, ranlib. When these utilities are run as a privileged user (presumably as part of a script updating binaries across different users), an unprivileged user can trick these utilities into getting ownership of arbitrary files through a symlink. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3517 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 30 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 27 more | 2025-12-02 | 8.6 High |
| There is a flaw in the xml entity encoding functionality of libxml2 in versions before 2.9.11. An attacker who is able to supply a crafted file to be processed by an application linked with the affected functionality of libxml2 could trigger an out-of-bounds read. The most likely impact of this flaw is to application availability, with some potential impact to confidentiality and integrity if an attacker is able to use memory information to further exploit the application. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3999 | 4 Debian, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 16 Debian Linux, Glibc, E-series Performance Analyzer and 13 more | 2025-12-02 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in glibc. An off-by-one buffer overflow and underflow in getcwd() may lead to memory corruption when the size of the buffer is exactly 1. A local attacker who can control the input buffer and size passed to getcwd() in a setuid program could use this flaw to potentially execute arbitrary code and escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-25844 | 3 Angularjs, Fedoraproject, Netapp | 3 Angularjs, Fedora, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility | 2025-11-20 | 5.3 Medium |
| The package angular after 1.7.0 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) by providing a custom locale rule that makes it possible to assign the parameter in posPre: ' '.repeat() of NUMBER_FORMATS.PATTERNS[1].posPre with a very high value. **Note:** 1) This package has been deprecated and is no longer maintained. 2) The vulnerable versions are 1.7.0 and higher. | ||||
| CVE-2024-38475 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Redhat and 1 more | 19 Http Server, Ontap 9, Enterprise Linux and 16 more | 2025-11-17 | 9.1 Critical |
| Improper escaping of output in mod_rewrite in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier allows an attacker to map URLs to filesystem locations that are permitted to be served by the server but are not intentionally/directly reachable by any URL, resulting in code execution or source code disclosure. Substitutions in server context that use a backreferences or variables as the first segment of the substitution are affected. Some unsafe RewiteRules will be broken by this change and the rewrite flag "UnsafePrefixStat" can be used to opt back in once ensuring the substitution is appropriately constrained. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3156 | 9 Beyondtrust, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 38 Privilege Management For Mac, Privilege Management For Unix\/linux, Debian Linux and 35 more | 2025-11-10 | 7.8 High |
| Sudo before 1.9.5p2 contains an off-by-one error that can result in a heap-based buffer overflow, which allows privilege escalation to root via "sudoedit -s" and a command-line argument that ends with a single backslash character. | ||||
