CVE-2023-5678 2 Openssl, Redhat 5 Openssl, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 2 more 2026-05-12 5.3 Medium
Issue summary: Generating excessively long X9.42 DH keys or checking excessively long X9.42 DH keys or parameters may be very slow. Impact summary: Applications that use the functions DH_generate_key() to generate an X9.42 DH key may experience long delays. Likewise, applications that use DH_check_pub_key(), DH_check_pub_key_ex() or EVP_PKEY_public_check() to check an X9.42 DH key or X9.42 DH parameters may experience long delays. Where the key or parameters that are being checked have been obtained from an untrusted source this may lead to a Denial of Service. While DH_check() performs all the necessary checks (as of CVE-2023-3817), DH_check_pub_key() doesn't make any of these checks, and is therefore vulnerable for excessively large P and Q parameters. Likewise, while DH_generate_key() performs a check for an excessively large P, it doesn't check for an excessively large Q. An application that calls DH_generate_key() or DH_check_pub_key() and supplies a key or parameters obtained from an untrusted source could be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack. DH_generate_key() and DH_check_pub_key() are also called by a number of other OpenSSL functions. An application calling any of those other functions may similarly be affected. The other functions affected by this are DH_check_pub_key_ex(), EVP_PKEY_public_check(), and EVP_PKEY_generate(). Also vulnerable are the OpenSSL pkey command line application when using the "-pubcheck" option, as well as the OpenSSL genpkey command line application. The OpenSSL SSL/TLS implementation is not affected by this issue. The OpenSSL 3.0 and 3.1 FIPS providers are not affected by this issue.
CVE-2026-43029 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: fix soft lockup in mptcp_recvmsg() syzbot reported a soft lockup in mptcp_recvmsg() [0]. When receiving data with MSG_PEEK | MSG_WAITALL flags, the skb is not removed from the sk_receive_queue. This causes sk_wait_data() to always find available data and never perform actual waiting, leading to a soft lockup. Fix this by adding a 'last' parameter to track the last peeked skb. This allows sk_wait_data() to make informed waiting decisions and prevent infinite loops when MSG_PEEK is used. [0]: watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#2 stuck for 156s! CVE-2026-42403 1 Apache 1 Neethi 2026-05-03 7.5 High
Apache Neethi does not properly detect circular references in policy definitions. When a WS-Policy document contains circular policy references (where Policy A references Policy B which references Policy A), the policy normalization process can enter an infinite loop or cause excessive recursion, leading to a stack overflow or application hang. An attacker can craft malicious policy documents with circular references to cause a Denial of Service condition Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.2, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-6528 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2026-05-01 5.5 Medium

CVE-2026-6520 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2026-05-01 5.5 Medium
OpenFlow v6 protocol dissector infinite loop in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service
CVE-2026-31472 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: iptfs: validate inner IPv4 header length in IPTFS payload Add validation of the inner IPv4 packet tot_len and ihl fields parsed from decrypted IPTFS payloads in __input_process_payload(). A crafted ESP packet containing an inner IPv4 header with tot_len=0 causes an infinite loop: iplen=0 leads to capturelen=min(0, remaining)=0, so the data offset never advances and the while(data < tail) loop never terminates, spinning forever in softirq context. Reject inner IPv4 packets where tot_len < ihl*4 or ihl*4 < sizeof(struct iphdr), which catches both the tot_len=0 case and malformed ihl values. The normal IP stack performs this validation in ip_rcv_core(), but IPTFS extracts and processes inner packets before they reach that layer.
CVE-2026-41606 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-04-28 5.3 Medium
Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Apache Thrift. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-27601 2 Jashkenas, Underscorejs 2 Underscore, Underscore 2026-04-28 5.9 Medium
Underscore.js is a utility-belt library for JavaScript. Prior to 1.13.8, the _.flatten and _.isEqual functions use recursion without a depth limit. Under very specific conditions, detailed below, an attacker could exploit this in a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by triggering a stack overflow. Untrusted input must be used to create a recursive datastructure, for example using JSON.parse, with no enforced depth limit. The datastructure thus created must be passed to _.flatten or _.isEqual. In the case of _.flatten, the vulnerability can only be exploited if it is possible for a remote client to prepare a datastructure that consists of arrays at all levels AND if no finite depth limit is passed as the second argument to _.flatten. In the case of _.isEqual, the vulnerability can only be exploited if there exists a code path in which two distinct datastructures that were submitted by the same remote client are compared using _.isEqual. For example, if a client submits data that are stored in a database, and the same client can later submit another datastructure that is then compared to the data that were saved in the database previously, OR if a client submits a single request, but its data are parsed twice, creating two non-identical but equivalent datastructures that are then compared. Exceptions originating from the call to _.flatten or _.isEqual, as a result of a stack overflow, are not being caught. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.8.
CVE-2026-31498 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix ERTM re-init and zero pdu_len infinite loop l2cap_config_req() processes CONFIG_REQ for channels in BT_CONNECTED state to support L2CAP reconfiguration (e.g. MTU changes). However, since both CONF_INPUT_DONE and CONF_OUTPUT_DONE are already set from the initial configuration, the reconfiguration path falls through to l2cap_ertm_init(), which re-initializes tx_q, srej_q, srej_list, and retrans_list without freeing the previous allocations and sets chan->sdu to NULL without freeing the existing skb. This leaks all previously allocated ERTM resources. Additionally, l2cap_parse_conf_req() does not validate the minimum value of remote_mps derived from the RFC max_pdu_size option. A zero value propagates to l2cap_segment_sdu() where pdu_len becomes zero, causing the while loop to never terminate since len is never decremented, exhausting all available memory. Fix the double-init by skipping l2cap_ertm_init() and l2cap_chan_ready() when the channel is already in BT_CONNECTED state, while still allowing the reconfiguration parameters to be updated through l2cap_parse_conf_req(). Also add a pdu_len zero check in l2cap_segment_sdu() as a safeguard.
CVE-2026-33750 1 Juliangruber 1 Brace-expansion 2026-04-22 6.5 Medium
The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to versions 5.0.5, 3.0.2, 2.0.3, and 1.1.13, a brace pattern with a zero step value (e.g., `{1..2..0}`) causes the sequence generation loop to run indefinitely, making the process hang for seconds and allocate heaps of memory. Versions 5.0.5, 3.0.2, 2.0.3, and 1.1.13 fix the issue. As a workaround, sanitize strings passed to `expand()` to ensure a step value of `0` is not used.
CVE-2026-32287 1 Antchfx 1 Xpath 2026-04-22 7.5 High
Boolean XPath expressions that evaluate to true can cause an infinite loop in logicalQuery.Select, leading to 100% CPU usage. This can be triggered by top-level selectors such as "1=1" or "true()".
CVE-2026-25971 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-04-18 6.2 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, Magick fails to check for circular references between two MSLs, leading to a stack overflow. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch.
CVE-2026-23689 1 Sap 2 Advanced Planning And Optimization, Supply Chain Management 2026-04-18 7.7 High
Due to an uncontrolled resource consumption (Denial of Service) vulnerability, an authenticated attacker with regular user privileges and network access can repeatedly invoke a remote-enabled function module with an excessively large loop-control parameter. This triggers prolonged loop execution that consumes excessive system resources, potentially rendering the system unavailable. Successful exploitation results in a denial-of-service condition that impacts availability, while confidentiality and integrity remain unaffected.
CVE-2026-27689 1 Sap 1 Supply Chain Management 2026-04-16 7.7 High
Due to an uncontrolled resource consumption (Denial of Service) vulnerability, an authenticated attacker with regular user privileges and network access can repeatedly invoke a remote-enabled function module with an excessively large loop-control parameter. This triggers prolonged loop execution that consumes excessive system resources, potentially rendering the system unavailable. Successful exploitation results in a denial-of-service condition that impacts availability, while confidentiality and integrity remain unaffected.
CVE-2025-42930 1 Sap 1 Business Planning And Consolidation 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation allows an authenticated standard user to call a function module by crafting specific parameters that causes a loop, consuming excessive resources and resulting in system unavailability. This leads to high impact on the availability of the application, there is no impact on confidentiality or integrity.
CVE-2024-13931 1 Abb 3 Aspect Enterprise, Matrix Series, Nexus Series 2026-04-15 7.2 High
Relative Path Traversal vulnerabilities in ASPECT allow access to file resources if session administrator credentials become compromised. This issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.08.03; NEXUS Series: through 3.08.03; MATRIX Series: through 3.08.03.
CVE-2024-4603 2 Openssl, Redhat 2 Openssl, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
Issue summary: Checking excessively long DSA keys or parameters may be very slow. Impact summary: Applications that use the functions EVP_PKEY_param_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check() to check a DSA public key or DSA parameters may experience long delays. Where the key or parameters that are being checked have been obtained from an untrusted source this may lead to a Denial of Service. The functions EVP_PKEY_param_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check() perform various checks on DSA parameters. Some of those computations take a long time if the modulus (`p` parameter) is too large. Trying to use a very large modulus is slow and OpenSSL will not allow using public keys with a modulus which is over 10,000 bits in length for signature verification. However the key and parameter check functions do not limit the modulus size when performing the checks. An application that calls EVP_PKEY_param_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check() and supplies a key or parameters obtained from an untrusted source could be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack. These functions are not called by OpenSSL itself on untrusted DSA keys so only applications that directly call these functions may be vulnerable. Also vulnerable are the OpenSSL pkey and pkeyparam command line applications when using the `-check` option. The OpenSSL SSL/TLS implementation is not affected by this issue. The OpenSSL 3.0 and 3.1 FIPS providers are affected by this issue.
CVE-2024-13930 1 Abb 3 Aspect Enterprise, Matrix Series, Nexus Series 2026-04-15 4.9 Medium
An Unchecked Loop Condition in ASPECT provides an attacker the ability to maliciously consume system resources if session administrator credentials become compromised This issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.08.03; NEXUS Series: through 3.08.03; MATRIX Series: through 3.08.03.
CVE-2026-33891 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-04-08 7.5 High
Forge (also called `node-forge`) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to version 1.4.0, a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability exists in the node-forge library due to an infinite loop in the BigInteger.modInverse() function (inherited from the bundled jsbn library). When modInverse() is called with a zero value as input, the internal Extended Euclidean Algorithm enters an unreachable exit condition, causing the process to hang indefinitely and consume 100% CPU. Version 1.4.0 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-33532 1 Eemeli 1 Yaml 2026-04-03 4.3 Medium
`yaml` is a YAML parser and serialiser for JavaScript. Parsing a YAML document with a version of `yaml` on the 1.x branch prior to 1.10.3 or on the 2.x branch prior to 2.8.3 may throw a RangeError due to a stack overflow. The node resolution/composition phase uses recursive function calls without a depth bound. An attacker who can supply YAML for parsing can trigger a `RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded` with a small payload (~2–10 KB). The `RangeError` is not a `YAMLParseError`, so applications that only catch YAML-specific errors will encounter an unexpected exception type. Depending on the host application's exception handling, this can fail requests or terminate the Node.js process. Flow sequences allow deep nesting with minimal bytes (2 bytes per level: one `[` and one `]`). On the default Node.js stack, approximately 1,000–5,000 levels of nesting (2–10 KB input) exhaust the call stack. The exact threshold is environment-dependent (Node.js version, stack size, call stack depth at invocation). Note: the library's `Parser` (CST phase) uses a stack-based iterative approach and is not affected. Only the compose/resolve phase uses actual call-stack recursion. All three public parsing APIs are affected: `YAML.parse()`, `YAML.parseDocument()`, and `YAML.parseAllDocuments()`. Versions 1.10.3 and 2.8.3 contain a patch.
