In AutomationDirect C-MORE EA9 HMI,
credentials used by the platform are stored as plain text on the device.
|
DYMO LabelWriter Print Server through 2.366 contains a backdoor hard-coded password that could allow an attacker to take control.
A vulnerability in the Incoming Goods Suite allows a user with unprivileged access to the underlying system (e.g. local or via SSH) a privilege escalation to the administrative level due to the usage of component vendor Docker images running with root permissions. Exploiting this misconfiguration leads to the fact that an attacker can gain administrative control. over the whole system.
An Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability has been identified in Moxa’s network security appliances and routers. A critical authorization flaw in the API allows an authenticated, low-privileged user to create a new administrator account, including accounts with usernames identical to existing users. In certain scenarios, this vulnerability could allow an attacker to gain full administrative control over the affected device, leading to potential account impersonation. While successful exploitation can severely impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device itself, there is no loss of confidentiality or integrity within any subsequent systems.
A vulnerability was identified in FNKvision Y215 CCTV Camera 10.194.120.40. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /etc/passwd of the component Firmware. Such manipulation leads to hard-coded credentials. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A security vulnerability in HCL Compass can allow attacker to gain unauthorized database access.
Screen 5.0.0 when it runs with setuid-root privileges does not drop privileges while operating on a user supplied path. This allows unprivileged users to create files in arbitrary locations with `root` ownership, the invoking user's (real) group ownership and file mode 0644. All data written to the Screen PTY will be logged into this file, allowing to escalate to root privileges
Certain models of routers from Billion Electric has a Plaintext Storage of a Password vulnerability. Remote attackers with administrator privileges can access the user settings page to retrieve plaintext passwords.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in NuCom NC-WR744G 8.5.5 Build 20200530.307. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component Console Application. The manipulation of the argument CMCCAdmin/useradmin/CUAdmin leads to hard-coded credentials. The attack can be initiated remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
NetSupport Manager < 14.12.0001 relies on a shared Gateway Key for authentication between Manager/Control, Client, and Connectivity Server components. The key is stored using a reversible encoding scheme. An attacker who obtains access to a deployed client configuration file can decode the stored value to recover the plaintext Gateway Key. Possession of the Gateway Key allows unauthorized access to NetSupport Manager connectivity services and enables remote control of systems managed through the same key.
Westermo EDW-100 devices through 2024-05-03 allow an unauthenticated user to download a configuration file containing a cleartext password. NOTE: this is a serial-to-Ethernet converter that should not be placed at the edge of the network.
Under certain circumstances the web interface users credentials may be recovered by an authenticated user.
An Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability has been identified in Moxa’s network security appliances and routers. A flaw in broken access control has been identified in the /api/v1/setting/data endpoint of the affected device. This flaw allows a low-privileged authenticated user to call the API without the required permissions, thereby gaining the ability to access or modify system configuration data. Successful exploitation may lead to privilege escalation, allowing the attacker to access or modify sensitive system settings. While the overall impact is high, there is no loss of confidentiality or integrity within any subsequent systems.
Elevation of privilege vulnerability in GE HealthCare EchoPAC products
Smart-tab Android app installed April 2023 or earlier contains an issue with plaintext storage of a password. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker with physical access to the device may retrieve the credential information and spoof the device to access the related external service.
A vulnerability has been found in Zytec Dalian Zhuoyun Technology Central Authentication Service 3. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /index.php/auth/Ops/git of the component HTTP Header Handler. The manipulation of the argument Authorization leads to use of hard-coded password. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A flaw was found in how Quay's database is stored in plain-text in mirror-registry on the jinja's config.yaml file. This flaw allows a malicious actor with access to this file to gain access to Quay's database.
A flaw was found in Quay, where Quay's database is stored in plain text in mirror-registry on Jinja's config.yaml file. This issue leaves the possibility of a malicious actor with access to this file to gain access to Quay's Redis instance.
| Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability has been found in Dual-redundant Platform for Computer.
If a computer on which the affected product is installed receives a large number of UDP broadcast packets in a short period, occasionally that computer may restart.
If both the active and standby computers are restarted at the same time, the functionality on that computer may be temporarily unavailable. |
| Toshiba printers use SNMP for configuration. Using the private community, it is possible to remotely execute commands as root on the remote printer. Using this vulnerability will allow any attacker to get a root access on a remote Toshiba printer. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability.
