CVE-2025-12838 1 Msp360 1 Backup 2026-04-15 N/A
MSP360 Free Backup Link Following Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of MSP360 Free Backup. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. User interaction on the part of an administrator is needed additionally. The specific flaw exists within the restore functionality. By creating a junction, an attacker can abuse the service to create arbitrary files. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27245.
CVE-2025-26625 1 Git-lfs 1 Git-lfs 2026-04-15 8.1 High
Git LFS is a Git extension for versioning large files. In Git LFS versions 0.5.2 through 3.7.0, when populating a Git repository's working tree with the contents of Git LFS objects, certain Git LFS commands may write to files visible outside the current Git working tree if symbolic or hard links exist which collide with the paths of files tracked by Git LFS. The git lfs checkout and git lfs pull commands do not check for symbolic links before writing to files in the working tree, allowing an attacker to craft a repository containing symbolic or hard links that cause Git LFS to write to arbitrary file system locations accessible to the user running these commands. As well, when the git lfs checkout and git lfs pull commands are run in a bare repository, they could write to files visible outside the repository. The vulnerability is fixed in version 3.7.1. As a workaround, support for symlinks in Git may be disabled by setting the core.symlinks configuration option to false, after which further clones and fetches will not create symbolic links. However, any symbolic or hard links in existing repositories will still provide the opportunity for Git LFS to write to their targets.
CVE-2023-30971 1 Palantir 1 Gaia 2026-04-15 6.8 Medium
Gotham Gaia application was found to be exposing multiple unauthenticated endpoints.
CVE-2024-12216 2026-04-15 N/A
A vulnerability in the `ImageClassificationDataset.from_csv()` API of the `dmlc/gluon-cv` repository, version 0.10.0, allows for arbitrary file write. The function downloads and extracts `tar.gz` files from URLs without proper sanitization, making it susceptible to a TarSlip vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this by crafting malicious tar files that, when extracted, can overwrite files on the victim's system via path traversal or faked symlinks.
CVE-2024-13759 2026-04-15 7.8 High
Local Privilege Escalation in Avira.Spotlight.Service.exe in Avira Prime 1.1.96.2 on Windows 10 x64  allows local attackers to gain system-level privileges via arbitrary file deletion
CVE-2024-1753 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus 2026-04-15 8.6 High
A flaw was found in Buildah (and subsequently Podman Build) which allows containers to mount arbitrary locations on the host filesystem into build containers. A malicious Containerfile can use a dummy image with a symbolic link to the root filesystem as a mount source and cause the mount operation to mount the host root filesystem inside the RUN step. The commands inside the RUN step will then have read-write access to the host filesystem, allowing for full container escape at build time.
CVE-2024-23766 1 Hms-networks 1 Anybus X-gateway Ab7832-f3 2026-04-15 7.5 High
An issue was discovered on HMS Anybus X-Gateway AB7832-F 3 devices. The gateway exposes a web interface on port 80. An unauthenticated GET request to a specific URL triggers the reboot of the Anybus gateway (or at least most of its modules). An attacker can use this feature to carry out a denial of service attack by continuously sending GET requests to that URL.
CVE-2024-27458 1 Hp 40 Elite Dragonfly Firmware, Elite Dragonfly G2 Firmware, Elite Dragonfly Max Firmware and 37 more 2026-04-15 8.8 High
A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the HP Hotkey Support software, which might allow local escalation of privilege. HP is releasing mitigation for the potential vulnerability. Customers using HP Programmable Key are recommended to update HP Hotkey Support.
CVE-2024-28185 1 Judge0 1 Judge0 2026-04-15 10 Critical
Judge0 is an open-source online code execution system. The application does not account for symlinks placed inside the sandbox directory, which can be leveraged by an attacker to write to arbitrary files and gain code execution outside of the sandbox. When executing a submission, Judge0 writes a `run_script` to the sandbox directory. The security issue is that an attacker can create a symbolic link (symlink) at the path `run_script` before this code is executed, resulting in the `f.write` writing to an arbitrary file on the unsandboxed system. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to overwrite scripts on the system and gain code execution outside of the sandbox.
CVE-2024-28189 1 Judge0 1 Judge0 2026-04-15 10 Critical
Judge0 is an open-source online code execution system. The application uses the UNIX chown command on an untrusted file within the sandbox. An attacker can abuse this by creating a symbolic link (symlink) to a file outside the sandbox, allowing the attacker to run chown on arbitrary files outside of the sandbox. This vulnerability is not impactful on it's own, but it can be used to bypass the patch for CVE-2024-28185 and obtain a complete sandbox escape. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.1.
CVE-2024-29188 2026-04-15 7.8 High
WiX toolset lets developers create installers for Windows Installer, the Windows installation engine. The custom action behind WiX's `RemoveFolderEx` functionality could allow a standard user to delete protected directories. `RemoveFolderEx` deletes an entire directory tree during installation or uninstallation. It does so by recursing every subdirectory starting at a specified directory and adding each subdirectory to the list of directories Windows Installer should delete. If the setup author instructed `RemoveFolderEx` to delete a per-user folder from a per-machine installer, an attacker could create a directory junction in that per-user folder pointing to a per-machine, protected directory. Windows Installer, when executing the per-machine installer after approval by an administrator, would delete the target of the directory junction. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.14.1 and 4.0.5.
CVE-2024-41253 1 Goframe 1 Goframe 2026-04-15 7.1 High
goframe v2.7.2 is configured to skip TLS certificate verification, possibly allowing attackers to execute a man-in-the-middle attack via the gclient component.
CVE-2024-41265 1 Linuxfoundation 1 Cortex 2026-04-15 7.5 High

The Improper link resolution before file access ('Link Following') vulnerability in SonicWall Connect Tunnel (version 12.4.3.271 and earlier of Windows client) allows users with standard privileges to create arbitrary folders and files, potentially leading to local Denial of Service (DoS) attack.
CVE-2024-45316 1 Sonicwall 1 Connect Tunnel 2026-04-15 7.8 High
The Improper link resolution before file access ('Link Following') vulnerability in SonicWall Connect Tunnel (version 12.4.3.271 and earlier of Windows client) allows users with standard privileges to delete arbitrary folders and files, potentially leading to local privilege escalation attack.
CVE-2024-45339 1 Redhat 2 Ocp Tools, Openshift Ai 2026-04-15 7.1 High
When logs are written to a widely-writable directory (the default), an unprivileged attacker may predict a privileged process's log file path and pre-create a symbolic link to a sensitive file in its place. When that privileged process runs, it will follow the planted symlink and overwrite that sensitive file. To fix that, glog now causes the program to exit (with status code 2) when it finds that the configured log file already exists.
CVE-2024-51721 1 Blackberry 1 Secusuite 2026-04-15 7.3 High
A code injection vulnerability in the SecuSUITE Server Web Administration Portal of SecuSUITE versions 5.0.420 and earlier could allow an attacker to potentially inject script commands or other executable content into the server that would run with root privilege.
