CVE-2026-53149 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Bound root directory content to block size __tb_property_parse_dir() does not check that content_offset + content_len fits within block_len for the root directory case. When rootdir->length equals or exceeds block_len - 2, the entry loop reads past the allocated property block. Add a bounds check after computing content_offset and content_len to reject directories whose content extends past the block.
CVE-2026-53159 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: fastrpc: fix DMA address corruption due to find_vma misuse fastrpc_get_args() uses find_vma() to look up the VMA for a user-provided pointer and compute a DMA address offset. When the address falls in a gap before the returned VMA, (ptr & PAGE_MASK) - vma->vm_start underflows, corrupting the DMA address sent to the DSP. Replace find_vma() with vma_lookup(), which returns NULL when the address is not contained within any VMA.
CVE-2026-56370 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-06-25 3.3 Low
ImageMagick before 7.1.2-19 contains an out-of-bounds access vulnerability in ConnectedComponentsImage() when processing connected-components artifacts with invalid indices. Attackers can trigger access violations by specifying malformed connected-components definitions via CLI, causing denial of service or potential code execution.
CVE-2026-50262 2 Redhat, X.org 4 Enterprise Linux, X Server, Xorg-server and 1 more 2026-06-25 5.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in __glXDisp_ChangeDrawableAttributes(). A wrong size validation check can read a client-controlled number of bytes, exceeding the request buffer, leading to information disclosure. A write path also exists but requires byte-swapped clients which is disabled by default.
CVE-2026-53250 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: cache csum_start/csum_offset to fix TOCTOU in xsk_skb_metadata() The TX metadata area resides in the UMEM buffer which is memory-mapped and concurrently writable by userspace. In xsk_skb_metadata(), csum_start and csum_offset are read from shared memory for bounds validation, then read again for skb assignment. A malicious userspace application can race to overwrite these values between the two reads, bypassing the bounds check and causing out-of-bounds memory access during checksum computation in the transmit path. Fix this by reading csum_start and csum_offset into local variables once, then using the local copies for both validation and assignment. Note that other metadata fields (flags, launch_time) and the cached csum fields may be mutually inconsistent due to concurrent userspace writes, but this is benign: the only security-critical invariant is that each field's validated value is the same one used, which local caching guarantees.
CVE-2025-60018 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhivos 2026-06-25 4.8 Medium
glib-networking's OpenSSL backend fails to properly check the return value of a call to BIO_write(), resulting in an out of bounds read.
CVE-2025-5918 2 Libarchive, Redhat 5 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-06-25 3.9 Low
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw can be triggered when file streams are piped into bsdtar, potentially allowing for reading past the end of the file. This out-of-bounds read can lead to unintended consequences, including unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2026-13033 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-06-25 8.8 High
Out of bounds read and write in Blink>InterestGroups in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.197 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
CVE-2025-5318 2 Libssh, Redhat 12 Libssh, Ai Inference Server, Enterprise Linux and 9 more 2026-06-25 8.1 High
A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior.
CVE-2025-4969 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhivos 2026-06-25 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was found in the libsoup package. This flaw stems from its failure to correctly verify the termination of multipart HTTP messages. This can allow a remote attacker to send a specially crafted multipart HTTP body, causing the libsoup-consuming server to read beyond its allocated memory boundaries (out-of-bounds read).
CVE-2025-2784 2 Gnome, Redhat 27 Libsoup, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 and 24 more 2026-06-25 7 High
A flaw was found in libsoup. The package is vulnerable to a heap buffer over-read when sniffing content via the skip_insight_whitespace() function. Libsoup clients may read one byte out-of-bounds in response to a crafted HTTP response by an HTTP server.
CVE-2025-32914 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2026-06-25 7.4 High
A flaw was found in libsoup, where the soup_multipart_new_from_message() function is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read. This flaw allows a malicious HTTP client to induce the libsoup server to read out of bounds.
CVE-2025-14104 1 Redhat 7 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 4 more 2026-06-25 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in util-linux. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overread when processing 256-byte usernames, specifically within the `setpwnam()` function, affecting SUID (Set User ID) login-utils utilities writing to the password database.
CVE-2026-52935 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: espintcp: do not reuse an in-progress partial send espintcp keeps a single in-flight transmit in ctx->partial. Before building a new sk_msg, espintcp_sendmsg() first tries to flush that state through espintcp_push_msgs(). For blocking callers, espintcp_push_msgs() may return success even when the previous partial send is still pending. espintcp_sendmsg() would then reinitialize emsg->skmsg and reuse ctx->partial while the old transfer still owns that state. Do not rebuild the send message when ctx->partial is still in progress. If espintcp_push_msgs() returns with emsg->len still set, fail the new send instead of overwriting the live partial state. This is a memory-safety fix: reusing the live partial-send state can leave a stale offset attached to a new sk_msg and lead to an out-of- bounds read in the send path. tcp_sendmsg_locked() already handles waiting for send buffer memory, so the fix here is just to preserve espintcp's one-message-at-a-time transmit state.
CVE-2025-8067 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 5 more 2026-06-25 8.5 High
A flaw was found in the Udisks daemon, where it allows unprivileged users to create loop devices using the D-BUS system. This is achieved via the loop device handler, which handles requests sent through the D-BUS interface. As two of the parameters of this handle, it receives the file descriptor list and index specifying the file where the loop device should be backed. The function itself validates the index value to ensure it isn't bigger than the maximum value allowed. However, it fails to validate the lower bound, allowing the index parameter to be a negative value. Under these circumstances, an attacker can cause the UDisks daemon to crash or perform a local privilege escalation by gaining access to files owned by privileged users.
CVE-2025-49796 1 Redhat 17 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 14 more 2026-06-25 9.1 Critical
A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory.
CVE-2025-49175 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 5 more 2026-06-25 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the X Rendering extension's handling of animated cursors. If a client provides no cursors, the server assumes at least one is present, leading to an out-of-bounds read and potential crash.
CVE-2026-52968 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 6.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: pci: fix GAIT table indexing due to double-scaling pointer arithmetic kvm_s390_pci_aif_enable(), kvm_s390_pci_aif_disable(), and aen_host_forward() index the GAIT by manually multiplying the index with sizeof(struct zpci_gaite). Since aift->gait is already a struct zpci_gaite pointer, this double-scales the offset, accessing element aisb*16 instead of aisb. This causes out-of-bounds accesses when aisb >= 32 (with ZPCI_NR_DEVICES=512) Fix by removing the erroneous sizeof multiplication.
CVE-2026-52942 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-25 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it The fallback path of dump_mac_header() guards the MAC header access only with "skb->mac_header != skb->network_header", without checking skb_mac_header_was_set(). When the MAC header is unset, mac_header is 0xffff, so the test passes and skb_mac_header(skb) returns skb->head + 0xffff, ~64 KiB past the buffer; the loop then reads dev->hard_header_len bytes out of bounds into the kernel log. This is reachable via the netdev logger: nf_log_unknown_packet() calls dump_mac_header() unconditionally, and an skb sent through AF_PACKET with PACKET_QDISC_BYPASS reaches the egress hook with mac_header still unset (__dev_queue_xmit(), which would reset it, is bypassed). Add the skb_mac_header_was_set() check the ARPHRD_ETHER path already uses, and replace the open-coded MAC header length test with skb_mac_header_len(). Only skbs with an unset MAC header are affected; valid ones are dumped as before. BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in dump_mac_header (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:831) Read of size 1 at addr ffff88800ea49d3f by task exploit/148 Call Trace: kasan_report (mm/kasan/report.c:595) dump_mac_header (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:831) nf_log_netdev_packet (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:938 net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:963) nf_log_packet (net/netfilter/nf_log.c:260) nft_log_eval (net/netfilter/nft_log.c:60) nft_do_chain (net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:285) nft_do_chain_netdev (net/netfilter/nft_chain_filter.c:307) nf_hook_slow (net/netfilter/core.c:619) nf_hook_direct_egress (net/packet/af_packet.c:257) packet_xmit (net/packet/af_packet.c:280) packet_sendmsg (net/packet/af_packet.c:3114) __sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2265)
