A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5. An app may be able to gain root privileges.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5. An app may be able to enable iCloud storage features without user consent.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional sandbox restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, macOS Ventura 13.7.5. An app may be able to access protected user data.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.6. A sandboxed process may be able to launch any installed app.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1. An app may be able to identify what other apps a user has installed.
A privacy issue was addressed by moving sensitive data. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, visionOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1. An app may be able to fingerprint the user.
Incorrect Default Permissions in pcvisit service binary on Windows allows a low-privileged local attacker to escalate their privileges by overwriting the service binary with arbitrary contents. This service binary is automatically launched with NT\SYSTEM privileges on boot. This issue affects all versions after 22.6.22.1329 and was fixed in 25.12.3.1745.
xrdp is an open source RDP server. In versions through 0.10.5, the session execution component did not properly handle an error during the privilege drop process. This improper privilege management could allow an authenticated local attacker to escalate privileges to root and execute arbitrary code on the system. An additional exploit would be needed to facilitate this. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.
Local privilege escalation in Genetec Update Service. An authenticated, low-privileged, Windows user could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges on the affected system.
The Netscape Portable Runtime (NSPR) API 4.6.1 and 4.6.2, as used in Sun Solaris 10, trusts user-specified environment variables for specifying log files even when running from setuid programs, which allows local users to create or overwrite arbitrary files.
Unspecified vulnerability in cPanel before 10.9.0 12 Tree allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges via unspecified vectors in (1) mysqladmin and (2) hooksadmin.
Race condition in PulseAudio 0.9.9, 0.9.10, and 0.9.14 allows local users to gain privileges via vectors involving creation of a hard link, related to the application setting LD_BIND_NOW to 1, and then calling execv on the target of the /proc/self/exe symlink.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, visionOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1. An app may be able to fingerprint the user.
Missing Authorization vulnerability allows Exposure of Sensitive Information via configuration endpoint. This issue affects Pandora FMS: from 777 through 800
administrator.cfc in Adobe ColdFusion 9.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, and 10 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and possibly execute arbitrary code by logging in to the RDS component using the default empty password and leveraging this session to access the administrative web interface, as exploited in the wild in January 2013.
The Social Streams plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their user meta information in the update_user_meta() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to change their user type to that of an administrator.
Incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: WebGPU component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 145 and Thunderbird 145.
The `username:password` part was not correctly stripped from URLs in CSP reports potentially leaking HTTP Basic Authentication credentials. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 141, Firefox ESR 128.13, Firefox ESR 140.1, Thunderbird 141, Thunderbird 128.13, and Thunderbird 140.1.
| Early versions of Operator-SDK provided an insecure method to allow operator containers to run in environments that used a random UID. Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 provided a script, user_setup, which modifies the permissions of the /etc/passwd file to 664 during build time. Developers who used Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 to scaffold their operator may still be impacted by this if the insecure user_setup script is still being used to build new container images.
In affected images, the /etc/passwd file is created during build time with group-writable permissions and a group ownership of root (gid=0). An attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, may be able to leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. |
Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software within Ring 2: Privileged Process may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
