CVSS v3.1 |
| An attacker can publish a zone containing specific Resource Record Sets. Processing and caching results for these sets can lead to an illegal memory accesses and crash of the Recursor, causing a denial of service.
The remedy is: upgrade to the patched 5.2.1 version.
We would like to thank Volodymyr Ilyin for bringing this issue to our attention. |
| In raw\TCP.cpp in Matter (aka connectedhomeip or Project CHIP) through 1.4.0.0 before 27ca6ec, there is a NULL pointer dereference in TCPBase::ProcessSingleMessage via TCP packets with zero messageSize, leading to denial of service. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in JT2Go (All versions < V2312.0004), Parasolid V35.1 (All versions < V35.1.254), Parasolid V36.0 (All versions < V36.0.207), Parasolid V36.1 (All versions < V36.1.147), Teamcenter Visualization V14.2 (All versions < V14.2.0.12), Teamcenter Visualization V14.3 (All versions < V14.3.0.9), Teamcenter Visualization V2312 (All versions < V2312.0004). The affected applications contain a null pointer dereference vulnerability while parsing specially crafted X_T files. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to crash the application causing denial of service condition. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where a user in a guest VM can cause a NULL-pointer dereference in the host. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CP 1242-7 V2 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 DNP3 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 IEC (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-7 LTE (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-8 IRC (6GK7243-8RX30-0XE0) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagBase (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagMonitor (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Advanced (All versions), SIPLUS TIM 1531 IRC (6AG1543-1MX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8), TIM 1531 IRC (6GK7543-1MX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8). The web server of the affected devices do not properly handle certain errors when using the Expect HTTP request header, resulting in NULL dereference.
This could allow a remote attacker with no privileges to cause a denial of service condition in the system. |
| A vulnerability was found in TRENDnet TEW-411BRP+ 2.07. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function sub_401DB0 of the file /usr/sbin/httpd of the component HTTP Request Handler. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| FFmpeg git master before commit c08d30 was discovered to contain a memory leak in the avformat_free_context function in libavutil/mem.c. |
| An unauthenticated attacker can perform a null pointer dereference in the DHIP Service (UDP port 37810). This vulnerability has been resolved in firmware version 2.800.0000000.8.R.20241111. |
| NVIDIA Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel driver, where a user could cause a null pointer dereference by allocating a specific memory resource. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| A vulnerability was found in axboe fio up to 3.41. This affects the function str_buffer_pattern_cb of the file options.c. Performing manipulation results in null pointer dereference. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been made public and could be used. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CP 1242-7 V2 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 DNP3 (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-1 IEC (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-7 LTE (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC CP 1243-8 IRC (6GK7243-8RX30-0XE0) (All versions < V3.5.20), SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels (incl. SIPLUS variants) (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagBase (All versions), SIMATIC IPC DiagMonitor (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Advanced (All versions), SIPLUS TIM 1531 IRC (6AG1543-1MX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8), TIM 1531 IRC (6GK7543-1MX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8). The web server of the affected devices do not properly handle the shutdown or reboot request, which could lead to the clean up of certain resources.
This could allow a remote attacker with elevated privileges to cause a denial of service condition in the system. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where a user in a guest can cause a NULL-pointer dereference in the host, which may lead to denial of service. |
| A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Cesanta Frozen versions less than 1.7 allows an attacker to induce a crash of the component embedding the library by supplying a maliciously crafted JSON as input. |

| Null pointer dereference in the firmware for some Intel(R) AMT and Intel(R) Standard Manageability within Ring 0: Kernel may allow a denial of service. Network adversary with an unauthenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via network access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |

The attack is only possible with local access. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
