CVSS v3.1 |
| Using a densely populated chars mask and a large input string in the MongoDB aggregation operators $trim, $ltrim, and $rtrim, an authenticated user with aggregation permissions can pin CPU utilization at 100% for an extended period of time.
This issue impacts MongoDB Server v7.0 versions prior to 7.0.34, v8.0 versions prior to 8.0.23, v8.2 versions prior to 8.2.9 and v8.3 versions prior to 8.3.2. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in M365 Copilot allows an unauthorized attacker to perform tampering over a network. |
| Improper neutralization of script-related html tags in a web page (basic xss) in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| basic-ftp is an FTP client for Node.js. Prior to 5.3.1, basic-ftp is vulnerable to client-side denial of service when parsing FTP control-channel multiline responses. A malicious or compromised FTP server can send an unterminated multiline response during the initial FTP banner phase, before authentication. The client keeps appending attacker-controlled data into FtpContext._partialResponse and repeatedly reparses the accumulated buffer without enforcing a maximum control response size. As a result, an application using basic-ftp can remain stuck in connect() while memory and CPU usage grow under attacker-controlled input. This can lead to process-level denial of service, container OOM kills, worker restarts, queue backlog, or service degradation in applications that automatically connect to FTP endpoints. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.3.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
most: core: fix resource leak in most_register_interface error paths
The function most_register_interface() did not correctly release resources
if it failed early (before registering the device). In these cases, it
returned an error code immediately, leaking the memory allocated for the
interface.
Fix this by initializing the device early via device_initialize() and
calling put_device() on all error paths.
The most_register_interface() is expected to call put_device() on
error which frees the resources allocated in the caller. The
put_device() either calls release_mdev() or dim2_release(),
depending on the caller.
Switch to using device_add() instead of device_register() to handle
the split initialization. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: ipu6: Fix RPM reference leak in probe error paths
Several error paths in ipu6_pci_probe() were jumping directly to
out_ipu6_bus_del_devices without releasing the runtime PM reference.
Add pm_runtime_put_sync() before cleaning up other resources. |
| An administrative user with access to configure webhooks can execute arbitrary commands by configuring and then triggering webhooks containing specific FreeMarker template syntax.
This issue affects all MongoDB Ops Manager 7.0 versions and MongoDB Ops Manager versions 8.0.22 and prior. |
| Docling's METS GBS backend is vulnerable to XML Entity Expansion (XXE) attacks thru 2.61.0. The backend extracts and validates XML files from .tar.gz archives using etree.fromstring() without disabling entity resolution. An attacker can craft a malicious XML file with nested entity definitions (XML Bomb) and package it into a .tar.gz archive. When processed by Docling, the exponential expansion of entities during XML parsing leads to excessive resource consumption, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition on the system running the Docling parser. |
| NanaZip is an open source file archive. From 5.0.1252.0 to before 6.0.1698.0, a denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the littlefs filesystem image parser in NanaZip. The handler's Open method reads BlockCount directly from the attacker-controlled superblock without any validation against the actual file size or any upper-bound ceiling, then iterates BlockCount times, allocating a file-path entry per iteration. A crafted 44-byte littlefs image with BlockCount = 0xFFFFFFFF causes ~4 billion heap allocations, exhausting available memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.0.1698.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rtw88: Use devm_kmemdup() in rtw_set_supported_band()
Simplify the code by using device managed memory allocations.
This also fixes a memory leak in rtw_register_hw(). The supported bands
were not freed in the error path.
Copied from commit 145df52a8671 ("wifi: rtw89: Convert
rtw89_core_set_supported_band to use devm_*"). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: cx23885: Add missing unmap in snd_cx23885_hw_params()
In error path, add cx23885_alsa_dma_unmap() to release the
resource acquired by cx23885_alsa_dma_map(). |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in D-Link DIR-816 1.10CNB05_R1B011D88210. Affected by this issue is the function sub_445E7C of the file /goform/singlePortForward. Such manipulation of the argument ip_address leads to command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. |
| A vulnerability was detected in D-Link DIR-816 1.10CNB05_R1B011D88210. This affects the function portForward. Performing a manipulation of the argument ip_address results in command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. |
| EDIMAX BR-6428nS V3 1.15 is vulnerable to Command Injection. An authenticated attacker with access to the network can submit crafted input to the WLAN configuration functionality. Due to insufficient input validation, the attacker is able to execute arbitrary system commands on the device. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in Tenda AC6 15.03.06.49_multi_TDE01. Affected is the function fromSetWirelessRepeat of the file /goform/WifiExtraSet of the component httpd. Performing a manipulation of the argument mac/ssid results in os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
spi: stm32-ospi: Fix resource leak in remove() callback
The remove() callback returned early if pm_runtime_resume_and_get()
failed, skipping the cleanup of spi controller and other resources.
Remove the early return so cleanup completes regardless of PM resume
result. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Wavlink NU516U1 240425. The affected element is the function WifiBasic of the file /cgi-bin/wireless.cgi. Performing a manipulation of the argument AuthMethod/EncrypType results in os command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A flaw has been found in Wavlink NU516U1 240425. The impacted element is the function sys_login1 of the file /cgi-bin/login.cgi. Executing a manipulation of the argument ipaddr can lead to os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| In versions 2.1.63 through 2.1.83 of Claude Code, the folder trust determination logic used the git worktree commondir file without validating its contents. An attacker could craft a malicious repository with a commondir file pointing to a path the victim had previously trusted, causing Claude Code to bypass its trust confirmation dialog and immediately execute hooks defined in `.claude/settings.json`. Exploitation requires the victim to clone the malicious repository and run Claude Code within it, and the attacker must know or guess a path the victim had already trusted. This issue has been fixed in version 2.1.84. |
| A TCP client can perform a TLS handshake and present the server name extension with a server name that is accepted by a server wildcard name, e.g. if the server is configured with a certificate accepting *.example.com, any XYZ.example.com where xyz is a valid name can be used. |
