CVSS v3.1 |
C-Kermit (aka ckermit) through 10.0 Beta.12 (aka 416-beta12) before 244644d allows a remote Kermit system to overwrite files on the local system, or retrieve arbitrary files from the local system.
marshmallow-packages/nova-tiptap is a rich text editor for Laravel Nova based on tiptap. Prior to 5.7.0, a vulnerability was discovered in the marshmallow-packages/nova-tiptap Laravel Nova package that allows unauthenticated users to upload arbitrary files to any Laravel disk configured in the application. The vulnerability is due to missing authentication middleware (Nova and Nova.Auth) on the /nova-tiptap/api/file upload endpoint, the lack of validation on uploaded files (no MIME/type or extension restrictions), and the ability for an attacker to choose the disk parameter dynamically. This means an attacker can craft a custom form and send a POST request to /nova-tiptap/api/file, supplying a valid CSRF token, and upload executable or malicious files (e.g., .php, binaries) to public disks such as local, public, or s3. If a publicly accessible storage path is used (e.g. S3 with public access, or Laravel’s public disk), the attacker may gain the ability to execute or distribute arbitrary files — amounting to a potential Remote Code Execution (RCE) vector in some environments. This vulnerability was fixed in 5.7.0.
Finit provides fast init for Linux systems. Finit's urandom plugin has a heap buffer overwrite vulnerability at boot which leads to it overwriting other parts of the heap, possibly causing random instabilities and undefined behavior. The urandom plugin is enabled by default, so this bug affects everyone using Finit 4.2 or later that do not explicitly disable the plugin at build time. This bug is fixed in Finit 4.12. Those who cannot upgrade or backport the fix to urandom.c are strongly recommended to disable the plugin in the call to the `configure` script.
Manager-io/Manager is accounting software. A critical unauthenticated full read Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the proxy handler component of both manager Desktop and Server edition versions up to and including 25.7.18.2519. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass network isolation and access restrictions, potentially enabling access to internal services, cloud metadata endpoints, and exfiltration of sensitive data from isolated network segments. This vulnerability is fixed in version 25.7.21.2525.
The StreamWeasels Kick Integration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's sw-kick-embed shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The StreamWeasels YouTube Integration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's sw-youtube-embed shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
uv is a Python package and project manager written in Rust. In versions 0.8.5 and earlier, remote ZIP archives were handled in a streamwise fashion, and file entries were not reconciled against the archive's central directory. An attacker could contrive a ZIP archive that would extract with legitimate contents on some package installers, and malicious contents on others due to multiple local file entries. An attacker could also contrive a "stacked" ZIP input with multiple internal ZIPs, which would be handled differently by different package installers. The attacker could choose which installer to target in both scenarios. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.6. To work around this issue, users may choose to set UV_INSECURE_NO_ZIP_VALIDATION=1 to revert to the previous behavior.
An issue was discovered in Prevx v3.0.5.220 allowing attackers to cause a denial of service via sending IOCTL code 0x22E044 to the pxscan.sys driver. Any processes listed under registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\pxscan\Files will be terminated.
Click Studios Passwordstate before 9.9 Build 9972 has a potential authentication bypass for Passwordstate emergency access. By using a crafted URL while on the Emergency Access web page, an unauthorized person can gain access to the Passwordstate Administration section.
The ip (aka node-ip) package through 2.0.1 (in NPM) might allow SSRF because the IP address value 0 is improperly categorized as globally routable via isPublic. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-29415. NOTE: in current versions of several applications, connection attempts to the IP address 0 (interpreted as 0.0.0.0) are blocked with error messages such as net::ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID. However, in some situations that depend on both application version and operating system, connection attempts to 0 and 0.0.0.0 are considered connection attempts to 127.0.0.1 (and, for this reason, a false value of isPublic would be preferable).
Element Web is a Matrix web client built using the Matrix React SDK. Element Web and Element Desktop before version 1.11.112 have insufficient validation of room predecessor links, allowing a remote attacker to attempt to impermanently replace a room's entry in the room list with an unrelated attacker-supplied room. While the effect of this is temporary, it may still confuse users into acting on incorrect assumptions. The issue has been patched and users should upgrade to 1.11.112. A reload/refresh will fix the incorrect room list state, removing the attacker's room and restoring the original room.
Matrix JavaScript SDK is a Matrix Client-Server SDK for JavaScript and TypeScript. matrix-js-sdk before 38.2.0 has insufficient validation of room predecessor links in MatrixClient::getJoinedRooms, allowing a remote attacker to attempt to replace a tombstoned room with an unrelated attacker-supplied room. The issue has been patched and users should upgrade to 38.2.0. A workaround is to avoid using MatrixClient::getJoinedRooms in favor of getRooms() and filtering upgraded rooms separately.
esm.sh is a nobuild content delivery network(CDN) for modern web development. In 136 and earlier, a Local File Inclusion (LFI) issue was identified in the esm.sh service URL handling. An attacker could craft a request that causes the server to read and return files from the host filesystem (or other unintended file sources).
A vulnerability was found in Dibo Data Decision Making System up to 2.7.0. The affected element is the function downloadImpTemplet of the file /common/dep/common_dep.action.jsp. The manipulation of the argument filePath results in path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
RATOC RAID Monitoring Manager for Windows provided by RATOC Systems, Inc. registers a Windows service with an unquoted file path. A user with the write permission on the root directory of the system drive may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege.
ChatLuck contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Guest User Sign-up. If exploited, an arbitrary script may be executed on the web browser of the user who is accessing the product.
Boolean SQL injection vulnerability in the web app of Base Digitale Group spa product Centrax Open PSIM version 6.1 allows a low level priviliged user that has access to the platform, to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the datafine parameter.
Stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in desknet's NEO V2.0R1.0 to V9.0R2.0 allow execution of arbitrary JavaScript in a user’s web browser.
Vision UI is a collection of enterprise-grade, dependency-free modules for modern web projects. In versions 1.4.0 and below, the getSecureRandomInt function in security-kit versions prior to 3.5.0 (packaged in Vision-ui <= 1.4.0) contains a critical cryptographic weakness. Due to a silent 32-bit integer overflow in its internal masking logic, the function fails to produce a uniform distribution of random numbers when the requested range between min and max is larger than 2³². The root cause is the use of a 32-bit bitwise left-shift operation (<<) to generate a bitmask for the rejection sampling algorithm. This causes the mask to be incorrect for any range requiring 32 or more bits of entropy. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.0.
VTun-ng is a Virtual Tunnel over TCP/IP network. In versions 3.0.17 and below, failure to initialize encryption modules might cause reversion to plaintext due to insufficient error handling. The bug was first introduced in VTun-ng version 3.0.12. This is fixed in version 3.0.18. To workaround this issue, avoid blowfish-256.
