CVSS v3.1 |
| WinAVR version 20100110 contains an insecure permissions vulnerability that allows authenticated users to modify system files and executables. Attackers can leverage the overly permissive access controls to potentially modify critical DLLs and executable files in the WinAVR installation directory. |
| Insufficient permissions in the TeamViewer Patch & Asset Management component prior to version 24.12 on Windows allows a local authenticated user to delete arbitrary files. TeamViewer Patch & Asset Management is part of TeamViewer Remote Management. |
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Lockdown Extension allows Privilege Abuse. Fixed in Mediawiki Core Action APIThis issue affects Mediawiki - Lockdown Extension: from master before 1.42. |
| stalld through 1.19.7 allows local users to cause a denial of service (file overwrite) via a /tmp/rtthrottle symlink attack. |
| A Privilege Escalation vulnerability has been found in Panloader component v3.24.0.0 by Espiral MS Group. This vulnerability allows any user to override the file panLoad.exe that will be executed by SYSTEM user via a programmed task. This would allow an attacker to obtain administrator permissions to perform whatever activities he/she wants, shuch as accessing sensitive information, executing code remotely, and even causing a denial of service (DoS). |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC Virtualization as a Service (SIVaaS) (All versions). The affected application exposes a network share without any authentication. This could allow an attacker to access or alter sensitive data without proper authorization. |
| Incorrect permission assignment in AMD µProf may allow a local user-privileged attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. |
| When etcupdate encounters conflicts while merging files, it saves a version containing conflict markers in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This version does not preserve the mode of the input file, and is world-readable. This applies to files that would normally have restricted visibility, such as /etc/master.passwd.
An unprivileged local user may be able to read encrypted root and user passwords from the temporary master.passwd file created in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This is possible only when conflicts within the password file arise during an update, and the unprotected file is deleted when conflicts are resolved. |
| Overview
The product specifies permissions for a security-critical resource in a way that allows that resource to be read or modified by unintended actors. (CWE-732)
Description
Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server prior to versions 10.2.0.2, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, is installed with Karaf JMX beans enabled and accessible by default.
Impact
When the vulnerability is leveraged, a user with local execution privileges can access functionality exposed by Karaf beans contained in the product. |
| iMonitor EAM 9.6394 installs a system service (eamusbsrv64.exe) that runs with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges. This service includes an insecure update mechanism that automatically loads files placed in the C:\sysupdate\ directory during startup. Because any local user can create and write to this directory, an attacker can place malicious DLLs or executables in it. Upon service restart, the files are moved to the application’s installation path and executed with SYSTEM privileges, leading to privilege escalation. |
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Havelsan Inc. Dialogue allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects Dialogue: from v1.83 before v1.83.1 or v1.84. |
| Improper permission settings for mobile applications (com.transsion.carlcare) may lead to user password and account security risks. |
| Improper permission configurationDomain configuration vulnerability of the mobile application (com.afmobi.boomplayer) can lead to account takeover risks. |
| A low privileged remote attacker may modify the BACNet service properties due to incorrect permission assignment for critical resources which may lead to a DoS limited to BACNet communication. |
| In Teltonika Networks RUTOS devices, running on versions 7.0 to 7.8 (excluding) and TSWOS devices running on versions 1.0 to 1.3 (excluding), due to incorrect permission handling a vulnerability exists which allows a lower privileged user with default permissions to access critical device resources via the API. |
| External Control of File Name or Path, : Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Olgu Computer Systems e-Belediye allows Manipulating Web Input to File System Calls. This issue affects e-Belediye: before 2.0.642. |
| A security issue has been identified in ibaPDA that could allow unauthorized actions on the file system under certain conditions. This may impact the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the system. |
| Tampering of the registry entries might have led to preventing the ESET security products from starting correctly on the next system startup or to unauthorized changes in the product's configuration. |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39938. |
| Sangfor aTrust through 2.4.10 allows users to modify the ExecStartPre command. |
