CVE-2026-42934 1 F5 2 Nginx Open Source, Nginx Plus 2026-05-13 4.8 Medium
NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_charset_module module. When charset, source_charset, and charset_map and proxy_pass with disabled buffering ("off") directives are configured, unauthenticated attackers can send requests that with conditions beyond the attackers' control to cause a heap buffer over-read in the NGINX worker process, leading to limited disclosure of memory or a restart.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
CVE-2026-4424 2 Libarchive, Redhat 21 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 18 more 2026-05-13 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction.
CVE-2026-43916 1 Identd-ng 1 Pam Authnft 2026-05-13 N/A
pam_authnft is a PAM session module binding nftables firewall rules to authenticated sessions via cgroupv2 inodes. Prior to 0.2.0-alpha, a heap buffer over-read in peer_lookup_tcp (src/peer_lookup.c:134, prior to the fix) allowed a crafted NETLINK_SOCK_DIAG reply to slip past the message-size check, then dereference past the end of the allocation. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.2.0-alpha.
CVE-2026-42446 1 M2team 1 Nanazip 2026-05-13 4.4 Medium
NanaZip is an open source file archive. From 5.0.1252.0 to before 6.0.1698.0, a stack-based out-of-bounds read exists in the ZealFS filesystem image parser in NanaZip. The vulnerability is triggered when opening a crafted ZealFS v1 filesystem image. An attacker-controlled BitmapSize field in the file header drives an unbounded loop that reads past the end of a stack-allocated ZEALFS_V1_HEADER structure. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.0.1698.0.

CVE-2026-40360 1 Microsoft 8 365 Apps, Excel 2016, Office 2019 and 5 more 2026-05-13 7.8 High
Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information locally.
CVE-2026-5172 1 Dnsmasq 1 Dnsmasq 2026-05-13 7.3 High
A buffer overflow in dnsmasq’s extract_addresses() function allows an attacker to trigger a heap out-of-bounds read and crash by exploiting a malformed DNS response, enabling extract_name() to advance the pointer past the record’s end.
CVE-2026-20751 1 Intel 1 Data Center Graphics Driver For Vmware Esxi Software 2026-05-13 N/A
Out-of-bounds read for the Intel(R) Data Center Graphics Driver for VMware ESXi software before version 2.0.2 within Ring 1: Device Drivers may allow a denial of service. System software adversary with a privileged user combined with a low complexity attack may enable data exposure. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (high), integrity (none) and availability (high) impacts.

CVE-2026-43006 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-12 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/rsrc: reject zero-length fixed buffer import validate_fixed_range() admits buf_addr at the exact end of the registered region when len is zero, because the check uses strict greater-than (buf_end > imu->ubuf + imu->len). io_import_fixed() then computes offset == imu->len, which causes the bvec skip logic to advance past the last bio_vec entry and read bv_offset from out-of-bounds slab memory. Return early from io_import_fixed() when len is zero. A zero-length import has no data to transfer and should not walk the bvec array at all. CVE-2026-43005 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-12 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (tps53679) Fix array access with zero-length block read i2c_smbus_read_block_data() can return 0, indicating a zero-length read. When this happens, tps53679_identify_chip() accesses buf[ret - 1] which is buf[-1], reading one byte before the buffer on the stack. Fix by changing the check from "ret < 0" to "ret <= 0", treating a zero-length read as an error (-EIO), which prevents the out-of-bounds array access. Also fix a typo in the adjacent comment: "if present" instead of duplicate "if".
