CVSS v3.1 |
A mishandled zero case was discovered in opj_j2k_set_cinema_parameters in lib/openjp2/j2k.c in OpenJPEG 2.2.0. The vulnerability causes an out-of-bounds write, which may lead to remote denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow affecting opj_write_bytes_LE in lib/openjp2/cio.c and opj_j2k_write_sot in lib/openjp2/j2k.c) or possibly remote code execution.
Command injection vulnerability in Trend Micro Smart Protection Server (Standalone) 3.1 and 3.2 server administration UI allows attackers with authenticated access to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations.
The packet_set_ring function in net/packet/af_packet.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.6 does not properly validate certain block-size data, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (integer signedness error and out-of-bounds write), or gain privileges (if the CAP_NET_RAW capability is held), via crafted system calls.
There is a remote stack-based buffer overflow (SEH) in register.ghp in EFS Software Easy Chat Server versions 2.0 to 3.1. By sending an overly long username string to registresult.htm for registering the user, an attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code.
On Cisco DDR2200 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway DDR2200B-NA-AnnexA-FCC-V00.00.03.45.4E and DDR2201v1 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway DDR2201v1-NA-AnnexA-FCC-V00.00.03.28.3 devices, there is remote command execution via shell metacharacters in the pingAddr parameter to the waitPingqry.cgi URI. The command output is visible at /PingMsg.cmd.
An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command issue was discovered in Digium Asterisk GUI 2.1.0 and prior. An OS command injection vulnerability has been identified that may allow the execution of arbitrary code on the system through the inclusion of OS commands in the URL request of the program.
A remote code execution vulnerability in System UI component could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High because it is a remote arbitrary code execution in an unprivileged process. Product: Android. Versions: 7.1.1, 7.1.2. Android ID: A-36368305.
Heap buffer overflow during TIFF image parsing in PDFium in Google Chrome prior to 55.0.2883.75 for Mac, Windows and Linux, and 55.0.2883.84 for Android allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted PDF file.
An invalid write access was discovered in bin/jp2/convert.c in OpenJPEG 2.2.0, triggering a crash in the tgatoimage function. The vulnerability may lead to remote denial of service or possibly unspecified other impact.
An issue was discovered in Rockwell Automation Logix5000 Programmable Automation Controller FRN 16.00 through 21.00 (excluding all firmware versions prior to FRN 16.00, which are not affected). By sending malformed common industrial protocol (CIP) packet, an attacker may be able to overflow a stack-based buffer and execute code on the controller or initiate a nonrecoverable fault resulting in a denial of service.
A remote out of bound write / memory corruption vulnerability exists in the PDF parsing functionality of Nitro Pro 10.5.9.9. A specially crafted PDF file can cause a vulnerability resulting in potential memory corruption. An attacker can send the victim a specific PDF file to trigger this vulnerability.
In SWFTools 0.9.2, an out-of-bounds write of heap data can occur in the function png_load() in lib/png.c:755. This issue can be triggered by a malformed PNG file that is mishandled by png2swf. Attackers could exploit this issue for DoS; it might cause arbitrary code execution.
WNC01WH firmware 1.0.0.9 and earlier allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via unspecified vectors.
The native Bluetooth stack in the Linux Kernel (BlueZ), starting at the Linux kernel version 2.6.32 and up to and including 4.13.1, are vulnerable to a stack overflow vulnerability in the processing of L2CAP configuration responses resulting in Remote code execution in kernel space.
An exploitable OS Command Injection vulnerability exists in the web application 'ping' functionality of Moxa AWK-3131A Wireless Access Points running firmware 1.1. Specially crafted web form input can cause an OS Command Injection resulting in complete compromise of the vulnerable device. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability remotely.
Stack-based buffer overflow in the jpc_tsfb_getbands2 function in jpc_tsfb.c in JasPer before 1.900.30 allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via a crafted image.
On Linux running on PowerPC hardware (Power8 or later) a user process can craft a signal frame and then do a sigreturn so that the kernel will take an exception (interrupt), and use the r1 value *from the signal frame* as the kernel stack pointer. As part of the exception entry the content of the signal frame is written to the kernel stack, allowing an attacker to overwrite arbitrary locations with arbitrary values. The exception handling does produce an oops, and a panic if panic_on_oops=1, but only after kernel memory has been over written. This flaw was introduced in commit: "5d176f751ee3 (powerpc: tm: Enable transactional memory (TM) lazily for userspace)" which was merged upstream into v4.9-rc1. Please note that kernels built with CONFIG_PPC_TRANSACTIONAL_MEM=n are not vulnerable.
IBM MQ Appliance 8.0 and 9.0 could allow an authenticated messaging administrator to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by command execution. IBM X-Force ID: 125730.
Command Injection vulnerability in app_data_center on Shenzhen Tenda Ac9 US_AC9V1.0BR_V15.03.05.14_multi_TD01, Ac9 ac9_kf_V15.03.05.19(6318_)_cn, Ac15 US_AC15V1.0BR_V15.03.05.18_multi_TD01, Ac15 US_AC15V1.0BR_V15.03.05.19_multi_TD01, Ac18 US_AC18V1.0BR_V15.03.05.05_multi_TD01, and Ac18 ac18_kf_V15.03.05.19(6318_)_cn devices allows remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted cgi-bin/luci/usbeject?dev_name= GET request from the LAN. This occurs because the "sub_A6E8 usbeject_process_entry" function executes a system function with untrusted input.
An exploitable out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the XMP image handling functionality of the FreeImage library. A specially crafted XMP file can cause an arbitrary memory overwrite resulting in code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious image to trigger this vulnerability.
